Berryrific Holly, rather than a cultivar of its own is a combination of Blue Prince and Blue Princess to ensure pollination and abundant fruiting. These are tall broadleaf evergreen shrubs with blue-green toothed leaves and purple stems. When pollinated, the inconspicuous female flowers give way to abundant dark red fruit that can persist well into winter. Best planted in moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils.
