North Pole® Arborvitae

North Pole Arborvitae is a dense evergreen shrub with a narrow columnar habit that easily takes to pruning.  The horizontal to upright flat sprays of dark green foliage stays green in winter.  Best grown full sun and well-drained soils.  Drought tolerant once established. 

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  No pruning necessary.  Leaf blight and leaf miners may be occasional problems.  Watch for canker.  
LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Naturalized Areas, Woodland Gardens, Rock Gardens, Ponds and Streams, Foundation Plantings, and Hedges.
