Snow Pavement Rugosa Rose is a dwarf thorny deciduous shrub with an upright mounded habit and serrated dark green foliage that turns yellow in fall. The highly clove scented double flowers that open blush pink and age to white blooms from late spring into fall, which are followed by orange rosehips. Best grown in full sun and rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils. Snow Pavement has good disease resistance and hip production, and tolerates drought and salt.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Medium Maintenance. Roses are susceptible to powdery mildew, black spot, rust, and rose rosette and require regular fungicide in humid areas that experience a lot of rainfall. Pest issues include aphids, borers, scale, mites thrips, midges, and leafhoppers. Rugosa is suckering and will form dense colonies unless restrained.
