Ruby Star Echinacea is a freely branching native perennial with strong upright stems that do not need staking and deep green foliage. The large rose-purple flowers with deep bronze cones bloom from mid to late summer. Thrives in full sun and well-drained soils. The flowers attract butterflies and bees, and spent stems will stay erect and attract birds if not removed. Drought tolerant.
